Our Community

HobCommunity is a space for like-minded individuals to connect, share, and trade. To keep it welcoming and functional for everyone, we ask all members to respect these guidelines. Participation on the platform means you agree to abide by them.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use this platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. This threshold is set in accordance with Belgian and EU data protection law (GDPR), which requires that individuals be at least 16 to consent to the processing of their personal data in Belgium.

Listings Disclaimer

HobCommunity provides a platform for members to post and discover listings. We are not a party to any exchange or arrangement between members. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, guarantee item quality, or mediate disputes between members. Members interact at their own risk. We strongly encourage meeting in safe public places and using trusted payment methods where applicable.

What Is Not Tolerated

The following behaviors are considered violations and will result in content removal, suspension, or permanent ban:

• Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any member
• Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or repetitive low-quality posts
• Fraudulent listings, misrepresentation of items, or scam attempts
• Sharing explicit, sexual, or graphic content
• Posting illegal items or content that violates applicable law
• Impersonating other members or public figures
• Sharing another person's private information without consent (doxxing)

Reporting & Blocking

If you encounter behavior or content that violates these guidelines, you can report any member or listing directly from their profile or listing page. You can also block members to prevent them from contacting you or viewing your profile. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We do not tolerate retaliation against members who report in good faith.

Platform Rights

As platform operators, we reserve the right to remove any content or user account that we determine — at our sole discretion — to be in violation of these guidelines or harmful to the community. This includes listings, messages, profiles, or any other content. We may act without prior notice when necessary to protect members or the integrity of the platform.
